BWG Foods publishes Gender Pay Gap report for 2022

BWG Foods today publishes our Gender Pay Gap report for 2022.

Mandatory gender pay gap reporting is new to Ireland for employers of more than 250 employees.  The gender pay gap is the difference in the average hourly pay of women compared to men, with the Irish gap standing at 11.3 per cent in 2018. That was slightly better than the EU average, which as of 2020 is 13 per cent.

The Employment Equality Act 1998 (Section 20A) (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2022 require Organisations in scope in 2022 to pick a snapshot date.  BWG Foods selected 30th June 2022 and here report on remuneration for work done in the 12-month period up to the snapshot date.
