Known limitations for bwg.ie:

  • Cookie Acceptance Settings: BWG.ie uses a third-party cookie acceptance software. We are aware that some elements of this tool do not fully comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are committed to procuring a fully accessible tool.

 

  • Non descriptive Alt Tags in article blocks: Some blog article blocks are using the title of the article as an alt tag. We will update these on a case-by-case basis and will ensure any new posts are tagged correctly.

 

  • Resources for download: The Speaking up/Whistleblowing PDF found heredoes not meet WCAG level AA accessibility standards.

 

  • Image based text: Many recipes use text as an image and are not accessible for screen readers. If you have any issues, please email us on accessibility@bwg.ie

 

  • Resizing text: Not all text will resize when a new text size is applied in browser settings. To ensure all text increases in size please use the zoom function.
