BWG Foods National Distribution Centre has been honoured twice in recent weeks with awards at the Fleet Transport Awards 2018 and the SPAR International Logistics and Technology Awards.
At the Fleet Transport Awards, BWG Foods received the ‘Transport Operator of the Year’ Award BWG Foods National Distribution Centre wins Fleet Transport Award and first SPAR International LOGIT Award which was sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Commercials after a vigorous process of weighing entries by a panel of independent, industry-respected judges.
The 11th annual Fleet Transport Awards Gala Banquet was held at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin with over 1,000 attendees at the gala banquet from across the industry.
Complimenting the award winners on receiving their accolades, Jarlath Sweeney, Group Editor, Fleet Transport Magazine said: “Congratulations to all our winners tonight. It was not an easy process for the judges, given the high standard of entries. We were very pleased to see so many new companies and individuals entering this year.”
This follows on from BWG’s receipt of the first prestigious SPAR International “Supply Chain Excellence Award” at LOGIT, the Logistics and Technology Conference for SPAR International which took place in Northern Ireland two weeks ago, which hosts SPAR delegates from all over the world to showcase best practice in logistics and technology.
