The symbol group Xpress Stop was initially developed in 1997 by Mangans to service retail customers seeking group identity outside their traditional jurisdiction of MACE. Xpress Stop very quickly established itself as a leading ‘local community store’ offering the benefits of symbol retailing through partnership with a leading wholesaler.
In 2007 the brand identity was refreshed just in advance of BWG Foods’ 2008 acquisition of Mangans Wholesale and the Xpress Stop brand. Xpress Stop stores offer all the basics of a local convenience store with grocery, deli, wine, coffee and snacking all as integral parts of the offering.
Sales in Xpress Stop stores are driven through both national and local promotions. The core values of the Xpress Stop brand are quick, efficient levels of service and very much being a local community store.
