Neighbourhood store MACE Rathvilly has been awarded one of the brand’s most prestigious accolades after being named recipient of the 2013 MACE Customer Service Award.
Aimed at supporting and enhancing the brand’s focus on customer service, the award is based on mystery shopper audits, assessing the quality of interaction with customers in areas such as friendliness, helpfulness and attentiveness. The staff of MACE Rathvilly scored an average of 98% in four audits, the highest of any MACE store across the country.
Alex Banahan, Sales Director, MACE said: “I would like to extend due recognition to Edward Brennan and his staff on this fantastic achievement. This store epitomises the very essence of the MACE brand – friendly, local service. I congratulate Edward and his staff for their energy and enthusiasm and I wish them continued success with the business.”
Edward Brennan, store owner said: “We are delighted to have been recognised for this award given the enormous emphasis we place on customer service in our store. This award is testament to the incredible work of our staff, each of whom is committed to meeting our customers’ needs. I would also like to thank our customers for their continued support. We are proud to be providing a service to the people of Rathvilly.”
