BWG Foods annual Trade Show is the biggest event in the calendar of the SPAR, SPAR Express and EUROSPAR brands. The Trade Show sees Dublin’s Convention Centre transformed into a vast marketplace providing the perfect platform for retailers and suppliers to meet and do business.
In what was a milestone fifth year for the BWG Foods Trade Show, the annual event showed no signs of slowing down. On the contrary, this year’s event was the biggest and most successful yet; Trade Show saw an unprecedented turnout across the SPAR, SPAR Express and EUROSPAR brands with over 1,500 people showing up on the day.
The event is always a great way for retailers, suppliers, and BWG staff to meet under the one roof and exchange ideas; and let’s not forget the superb discount deals that were available to retailers present on the day. Over 150 suppliers – from multi-national to cottage industry – descended on the Convention Centre for what was one of the best trading opportunities of the year.
Speaking on the day, Leo Crawford, Group CEO, BWG Group, said “The success of the Trade Show is due to the combined efforts of retailers, suppliers, and BWG staff. As the event grows ever bigger, the unity of the wider BWG community grows ever stronger. This teamwork and togetherness has allowed us to emerge from the recession and we are now beginning to see very strong signs of growth; this year’s Trade Show is a sure sign of that. It is now imperative that we use the event as a springboard towards further growth and development until we meet again at Trade Show 2016.”
