Global appointment for Suzanne Weldon

Suzanne Weldon, Marketing & Communications Director, BWG Foods, has been appointed as BWG’s SPAR Ireland representative on the International SPAR Guild, the global council of SPAR International retailers and wholesalers made up of SPAR operators from around the world.

SPAR International is the world’s largest food retail voluntary chain with over 12,700 stores worldwide and global retail sales of over €35.0 billion in 2017. The BWG Group has been the operator of the SPAR Brand in Ireland since 1963.

Commenting on her appointment, Suzanne Weldon said, “I am delighted to represent BWG and SPAR Ireland at an international level during this hugely exciting period of growth for SPAR International’s operations around the world. I look forward to supporting our international SPAR colleagues globally and sharing BWG Foods experience as the market leader in convenience retailing in Ireland.”
