EUROSPAR Baltinglass opened its doors to the local community last week, with a fantastic food fair and customer celebration evening. The food fair was a great success with food tastings ranging from mince pies to in-season fruits to delicious honey roast ham. There was entertainment too with carol singing by local group “Get Vocal” in aid of 2 local charities.
Features of the new store include a hot and cold deli, Insomnia coffee dock, seating area, ATM, Home delivery and full off licence.
Speaking at the opening, store manager Ronan Malone said: “We are very excited to be opening our store today and to be meeting with new customers. The opening celebration has given us a great opportunity to showcase our extensive offering, including our popular own-brand range. It is our intention to place a big emphasis on serving the people of Baltinglass with high quality, competitively priced products and friendly service. We will also endeavor to support local producers where possible and seek to establish ourselves as a valued member of the business community.”
Willie O’ Byrne Managing Director at BWG Foods (owners and operators of the EUROSPAR brand in Ireland) said: “We are delighted to welcome William Quinn in Baltinglass to the EUROSPAR family. We know their store will deliver fantastic service and quality to the community and local shoppers will get great value for money with the variety of products and services on offer, supported by ongoing promotional offers.”
EUROSPAR Baltinglass will provide employment for 25 staff locally and is open 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 9pm Sunday.
