Hit TV show, Tastes like Home, which is sponsored by Londis and fronted by celebrity chef Catherine Fulvio, is now recruiting fresh participants for the third series, which returns to RTÉ screens in the Autumn.
The series is presented as a TV cooking show with a dash of travel and lifestyle with Catherine’s culinary skills helping to connect families with loved ones living all around the globe. As part of the show Catherine Fulvio will visit six families from across the country who will show her how to make their favourite ‘Tastes Like Home’ dishes, before Catherine jets off to locations around the world to recreate the dishes with friends and family living abroad.
Along with Londis, who for the third season proudly sponsor Tastes Like Home, Catherine is looking for what is the unmistakeable taste of home to your friend or relation. We all know recipes are much more than mixing ingredients in a bowl, they are traditions handed down through the generations that evoke memories.
Commenting on the continuing partnership, Conor Hayes, Londis Sales Director said; “We are delighted to be partnering with Catherine Fulvio and RTÉ on this very successful venture for the third successive year. Tastes like Home is a great concept and much like Londis, Catherine values quality, local produce and bringing fresh contemporary ideas to the table.
“Tastes like Home” is more than a food show, this is a format that strikes a chord with every Irish family and Londis is very proud of playing our part of helping bring the ‘local’ to loved one’s living abroad and missing their home.”
To enter all you have to do is submit your application with three family favourite recipes and we will recruit six families from across the country, who will show Catherine how to make their Tastes like Home dish. On selection Catherine will visit the family here before jetting off to whatever far-flung location their loved one is living and will recreate the favoured dish with them.
