EUROSPAR retailer, Paul Murphy, from Tubbercurry, Co Sligo, will bring his Operation Transformation journey to a conclusion this week when the class of 2019 graduate from the immensely popular RTE One television show.
Throughout Paul’s adventure, he has received tremendous support locally from the loyal customers of EUROSPAR Tubbercurry, and indeed the wider Sligo town community. The supermarket is a family run business and has been serving the local community since 1978, as a EUROSPAR since 2005, and provides employment to 30 people locally.
That support was very obvious last Saturday when Paul and the other Operation Transformation Team Leaders were joined by more than 5,000 supporters for the Operation Transformation 5k road run in the Phoenix Park. Along with family members and friends, Team EUROSPAR was out in force to support Paul on the day including fellow EUROSPAR Retailers and BWG management.
Paul posted a very impressive 32 minutes and 15 seconds for his run.
Commenting on Paul’s achievement in the show, Malachy Hanberry, Managing Director EUROSPAR said, “Everyone at EUROSPAR Supermarkets are very proud of Paul and what he has achieved with his appearance on this show. Paul’s commitment, perseverance and success are an inspiration to all of us.”
EUROSPAR Tubbercurry is open seven days a week serving the people of Sligo from early morning to late in the evening and customers have been following Paul’s journey on the RTE One show, and through the Operation Transformation App and EUROSPAR Facebook page.
